The FBI and the Albuquerque Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a man who robbed the Bank of America at 2601 Coors Blvd. NW on Monday, December 29, 2025, at approximately 11:25 AM.

Suspect description:

  • Race: White
  • Age: Approximately 60–70 years old
  • Eyes: Blue
  • Clothing: Yellow construction vest; black hoodie with maroon sleeves and the hood up; blue surgical mask; blue jeans

The suspect entered the bank, implied he possessed a bomb, and demanded cash from a teller. The teller complied, and the suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of money.

The FBI is offering a reward of up to $2,000** for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect.

Anyone with information about this robbery is asked to contact the FBI at (505) 889-1300 or Albuquerque Metro Crime Stoppers anonymously at (505) 843-STOP.

Bank robbery carries a possible prison sentence of up to 20 years. The use of a firearm, other dangerous weapon, toy gun, or hoax bomb device during a bank robbery may increase the potential sentence to up to 25 years.

This same bank was robbed on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at approximately 4:10pm, by another suspect that entered the bank, implied he dropped a bomb, and demanded cash from a teller who handed over an undisclosed amount of money.

We contacted the FBI to inquire whether the November robber (photo below) could potentially be the December suspect and to ask whether the November bank robber had been apprehended. They stated, “We cannot confirm at this time if the subjects are one in the same for the two robberies, but the November subject has not been apprehended at this time.”
