Fight Between Teens Causes Teen to Be Dropped Off at Hospital

Albuquerque –

At approximately 7:25 PM, Albuquerque Police were notified that a possible shooting victim was receiving medical treatment at Presbyterian Hospital. The victim was identified as a teenager and hospital staff initially considered it a gunshot wound, but further investigation revealed it was a cut.

Albuquerque Police found bullet casings along the Broadway Ave. SE corridor and they found surveillance video of teenagers in a fight around the same time a ShotSpotter activation happened. The teenager that was dropped off at the hospital was in the same group.

Through the night, APD has found multiple scenes associated with this fight between the teens. So far, no one has been detained in the incident and APD is still investigating the scenes.
