APD officers wait for the OMI and crime scene specialist to began an investigation in a man who jumped to his death on I-25 north bound.
NE ABQ – Around 2:00PM today police were notified about a man who was dangling from Montgomery over I-25. As police tried to negotiate with the man he jumped to his death.
Northbound I-25 traffic was diverted to the Frontage Rd as police investigated the suicide.
I-25 was closed to traffic for several hours and is now open. The circumstances will most likely make the death an “in custody” labeled death.
