Albuquerque –
Around 12:45PM, the Albuquerque Police Department received a call about a man shot in the chest near an alley way by San Pedro and Arizona SE.

When officers arrived, they found a male dead from at least one gun shot wound. Witnesses said at least two shots were fired.
Police are closing down the area to search for a suspect and start a homicide investigation.

I own the property east of this park on Arizona. Last Thursday I turned onto Arizona from Bell into a man threatenin a woman in the middle of the road with a crescent wrench. As I waited for the police to come by after calling 911, I witnessed another fight break out in the park with a man pounding on a woman, and then another fight broke out between 2 women. This park has become increasingly problematic this summer but no matter who I reach out to I am told there is nothing that can be done. Now someone has been killed. Is this what is takes to get some action here? Or is it just another day in the park for these people. Any suggestions on how to get this park cleaned up once and for all would be appreciated.
