Man With Stab Wound Seeks Help at Laundromat

Albuquerque –

At 4:40 PM, a concerned citizen at a laundromat located at 611 San Mateo SE contacted police to report that a man had entered the business with an apparent stab wound to the stomach. The caller stated that the man then left the laundromat.

Albuquerque Police Department officers and Albuquerque Fire Rescue were dispatched to the scene. Upon arrival, officers searched for the man and subsequently located him at the Presbyterian Urgent Care at 401 San Mateo Blvd SE.

AFR provided medical assistance and transported the stabbing victim to a local area emergency hospital. The man’s condition is currently unknown.

It is unknown if an offender was taken into custody.
