Manhunt on for Bank Robber Wearing Woman’s Clothing

The “Shop and Rob Bandit” apparently robbed another Albuquerque bank on Friday, but this time the unidentified man wore a brown wig, women’s clothes, and brown boots.

At approximately 1 p.m., an unknown male entered First Convenience Bank, located inside the Walmart Supercenter at 2550 Coors Blvd NW. The suspect handed a demand note to a teller. The robber received an undisclosed sum of money and left the store through the west entrance.Suspect’s Description:Sex: MaleRace: BlackHeight: 6’5″Build: ThinClothing: Brown wig, sunglasses, white surgical mask, light-colored sweater, dark shirt, black and white tiger-stripe pants, brown boots.Other: He carried a black bag slung over his shoulder.This individual is suspected of also robbing First Convenience Bank, located inside the Walmart Supercenter at 2266 Wyoming Blvd NE, on May 20, 2022.The FBI is offering a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of this suspect.Anyone with information about this robbery is asked to contact the FBI at (505) 889-1300, or Albuquerque Metro Crime Stoppers, anonymously, at (505) 843-STOP.Information about other bank robbers wanted by the FBI can be found at robbery carries a possible prison term of up to 20 years.
