Mass Shooting in SW Albuquerque, Three Wounded

Albuquerque –

Around 10:55 PM, shots were fired in the 1260 block of Cortez Dr. SW. Albuquerque Police Department and Albuquerque Fire Rescue were dispatched to the location. Deputies from Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office were in the area and arrived on scene to find at least three people with gunshot wounds.

Albuquerque Fire Rescue transported those shot to the University of New Mexico Hospital. All three are in the trauma bay at UNMH with critical injuries.

The offender fled the scene.

APD’s Gun Violence Reduction Unit is investigating this incident.
