Albuquerque –
On January 25th, 2024, New Mexico State Police conducted raids at two separate pot dispensaries in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The targets of the investigations were both of The Cannabis Revolution Dispensary locations on the east and west sides of Albuquerque.
New Mexico State Police executed search warrants at The Cannabis Revolution Dispensary locations at 806 Old Coors Rd, Suite D, Albuquerque, NM 87121, and The Cannabis Revolution Dispensary located at 12999 Central Ave NE, Albuquerque, NM 87123.
Agents from the Tax Fraud Investigation Division also assisted with these operations. While at one scene on the west side we observed NM State Police hauling evidence out of the location. Police had a trailer backed up to the building and were putting evidence into it.
According to the NM State Police, the two dispensaries involved in this investigation are believed to have ties to international organized crime. This is an ongoing investigation being pursued by the Organized Crime Commission.
Authorities estimate over $1,000,000 total in retail value of unlicensed products were seized during the operations. It is not clear if federal or state charges will be levied against the business.
