Motorcycle and SUV Cause Crash in SW Albuquerque

Around 7 PM, the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office received reports of a vehicle crash with injuries involving a motorcycle near Sunset Rd and Fairhaven Ave.

When deputies arrived on the scene, they found a motorcyclist injured with a compound fracture to the rider’s leg. The male was taken to a local hospital where he was in stable condition. The SUV sustained front-end damage, and the motorcycle lay on the side of the road. The driver of the SUV remained on the scene and was speaking with deputies.

BCSO is investigating the scene, and we will update when we have more information.

  1. I am sure the car ran a light, a stop sign, or almost anything. If I am wrong, I will apologize. Yes, there are bad bikers, but plenty more bad drivers.
