Motorcyclist Hospitalized After Bridge Blvd Crash

Albuquerque –

Around 9:15 AM, the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office and Albuquerque Fire Rescue responded to a crash involving a motorcycle at Bridge Blvd SW and Gatewood Ave SW. According to a calling party, the rider was wearing a helmet but was down on the pavement.

BCSO announced on social media around 9:30 AM that “westbound Bridge Blvd is closed at Sunset due to a crash involving a motorcycle.”

We reached out to BCSO to inquiry about the status of the rider and they stated that “the motorcycle rider was transported to a local hospital with non life threatening injuries.”

BCSO reopened lanes of traffic around 10:35 AM.
