An officer can be seen placing evidence markers down at the scene of the metros latest homicide scene
SE Albuquerque – Albuquerque Police officers responded to 9800 Central Ave SE at the Blake’s Lotaburger parking lot reference a double shooting. When they arrived they found two shooting victims.

We arrived on scene to see APD gathering evidence and documenting the scene. There were two piles of clothing from the shooting victims with blood on the sidewalk.
APD tells us that one individual is deceased and a second victim was transported to UNMH and is listed in stable condition.
This is the Albuquerque Metro’s 20th homicide of 2023.
