Detectives investigate ABQ’s latest Homicide in the San Jose neighborhood
APD Lt Ray DelGreco briefs media about the latest murder investigation in SE ABQ
SE ABQ – APD Lt. Ray DelGreco told media that a murder suicide happened on Ramona SW in the San Jose neighborhood.
A caller discover the deceased couple before noon and called police to the home. It did appear the couple were in some sort of relationship.
It is believed the male shot the female and then shot himself. Both died on scene. There were no other details available at this time.
According to police records there has been at least one domestic incident reported at the residence as recently as July.
APD, have identified the offender as John Chavez, 52, and his victim as Isabel Sanchez, 48.
This is ABQ’s 110th homicide of 2022.
