The New Mexico State Police has issued an Amber Alert for 10-month-old Eleia Maria Torres, who has brown eyes and brown hair, is 28 inches tall, and weighs 23 pounds.

Following a distress call around 4:30 p.m. on Friday, officers from the Clovis Police Department discovered two deceased women, later identified as 23-year-olds Samantha Cisneros and Taryn Allen, near a silver minivan at Ned Houk Park, approximately five miles north of Clovis, New Mexico. Cisneros’ 5-year-old daughter was found nearby with a head injury. The 5-year-old was was taken to Plains Regional Medical Center before being transferred to a hospital in Lubbock, Texas. The Amber Alert reports that someone shot the 5-year-old.

An investigation revealed that Cisneros was the mother of the injured 5-year-old child and baby Eleia. Clovis PD recovered baby items at the scene, including a baby bottle, car seat, and other items, prompting concerns about Eleia’s safety.

While no suspect details are available, authorities suspect the perpetrator may have fled in a maroon Honda car.

“The following information is for the distribution of an Amber Alert from the Clovis Police Department. For Details contact the Clovis Police Department at (575) 769-1921.

The Clovis Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating Eleia Maria Torres, who is 10 months old, 28 inches tall, and weighs 23 pounds. She has brown eyes and brown hair.

At around 4:30 p.m. on May 3, 2024, the Clovis Police Department was dispatched to an incident at Ned Houk Park located at 700 County Road 17 near Clovis. Upon arrival, officers located two deceased adult females and a 5-year-old juvenile with a gunshot wound. After further investigation, Clovis officers learned one of the deceased females was the mother of Eleia Maria Torres, and baby Torres should have been with the deceased mother.

There is currently no suspect in this incident. However, it is suspected the suspect was in a possible maroon Honda car, unknown model.

Many details about this incident are unknown and under investigation, but of urgent concern is the whereabouts of Eleia Maria Torres. If you have any information about this incident or the whereabouts of Eleia Maria Torres please call the Clovis Police Department or 911.”
