Albuquerque –
Around 7:30 PM, officers with the Albuquerque Police Department and crews from Albuquerque Fire Rescue responded to a reported vehicle versus pedestrian crash near Wisconsin St. and Central Ave.

Upon arrival, first responders located one person who had been struck by a vehicle. The individual was transported by AFR to a local hospital. At the time of transport, the person purportedly had life-threatening injuries.
Officers and APD Police Service Aides have blocked lanes of traffic in the area while the investigation is underway. Drivers are encouraged to avoid the area.
