SE Albuquerque – A man is in critical condition after being shot in an area known as the “Kirt” AKA “Kirk” AKA “The Kirtland addition”. This area is where University dead ends south of Gibson in SE ABQ. Before the man was shot there seemed to be some kind of domestic violence situation involving him.
After leaving the area of the domestic incident the man began causing havoc in the neighborhood. This is when a different person shot the man for unknown reasons. The man who was shot was transported to UNMH where he was last listed in critical condition. A full serious crimes investigation has began to look into exactly what led up to the shooting.
