Albuquerque –
Just before 8:50 PM, officers with the Albuquerque Police Department responded to a reported shooting in the 700 block of Palomas Dr. SE.
Upon arrival, officers located one person suffering from at least two gunshot wounds. The victim was transported by medical personnel to a local hospital as a “scoop and run,” typically indicating the patient was considered to have serious or critical injuries.
Reportedly, no suspect is currently in custody. A vehicle was seen fleeing the area at a high rate of speed.
The investigation into this shooting remains ongoing by APD’s Gun Violence Reduction Unit (GVRU). If we learn more from APD, we will update you.
