Overnight Crash Kills 1 and Other Taken to Hosptial

APD is investigating a fatal, overnight crash that occurred in the area of Eubank Blvd. and Juan Tabo Blvd., N.E.

Officers responded Saturday around 11:20 p.m. to a two-vehicle crash. The driver of a black 2015 Audi A3 died on scene. The driver of a silver Hyundai Elantra was transported to the hospital is critical condition.

APD’s Fatal Crash Unit determined the Audi was traveling west on Juan Tabo and the Hyundai was traveling north on Eubank. The Audi attempted to make a left-hand turn at the intersection of Juan Tabo and Eubank, to go south on Eubank. The two vehicles collided in the middle of the intersection.

The crash is currently under investigation.
