Albuquerque –
Shortly before 10:30 PM, a shooting was reported at the Enclave Apartments, located at 9500 Osuna Rd NE. A caller stated to 911 that a person had been shot multiple times.
When officers from the Albuquerque Police Department and emergency medical personnel from Albuquerque Fire and Rescue arrived on scene, they found one individual suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite attempts to administer medical aid, the male who was shot was declared dead at the scene.
APD’s homicide detectives and crime scene investigators will be called out to investigate. As APD investigates, roads in the area or a portion of the apartment complex might be blocked off.

This is the eighth homicide investigation for the month of July, seven being investigated by APD and one by BCSO.
UPDATE:
APD stated that officers were sent to the listed location for “reports of a domestic dispute that escalated into a shooting.”
No additional details were given.
UPDATE 2:
On July 11 at 3:13 PM, APD stated that “Homicide detectives are working with the District Attorney’s Office to investigate this shooting as a possible justifiable homicide.”
