Police in Standoff with Barricaded Subject in NE ABQ; Multiple Road Closures

There is ongoing police activity in the area of San Francisco Rd NE and Jemez St NE. The major nearby cross streets are Barstow St NE and San Francisco Rd NE.

The Albuquerque Police Department has been on scene since at least 11:30 AM, attempting to negotiate with a man who may have an outstanding felony warrant. The individual is currently barricaded inside a residence in the area. APD Crisis Intervention officers have made attempts to establish contact with him.

Drivers will not be able to travel west on San Francisco Rd at Barstow due to road closures.
