Police Investigate Shooting in Albuquerque’s War Zone

Albuquerque –

Just before 12:00 PM, the Albuquerque Police Department responded to a shooting behind the old Allsup’s, near Zuni Rd SE and Indiana St SE.

Upon arrival, they located a person with a gunshot wound to the shoulder. The individual was transported to a local area hospital. Their current condition is unknown.

APD is searching for the suspect.

The Albuquerque Police Department’s Gun Violence Reduction Unit (GVRU) has been called out to investigate.
