Albuquerque – We have learned that Aaron Jones, the CEO of IPS (International Protective Service), has just been charged with Aggravated Assault with a Gun and Tampering with Evidence in Albuquerque, New Mexico. We have learned the incident took place at a chicken restaurant on San Mateo during the lunch hour earlier today.
IPS is a national security company headquartered in Albuquerque, NM. According to its website, they provide armed security services. The company has expanded into many different states and will soon expand internationally, with a management team that represents some of the most experienced security professionals in the industry.
We had early information that Mr. Jones may have been intoxicated and was also charged with DWI, however that was inaccurate. We strive for factual information and reporting, and we always make amendments when necessary.
We reached out to APD PIOs, but they are not responding, which is standard practice with our news organization.
