Rio Rancho, N.M. –
According to Rio Rancho Police Department, at approximately 6:20pm they were dispatched to a domestic violence incident in progress near the intersection of Enchanted Hills Blvd & Bismark Hills NE. The event resulted in an Officer Involved Shooting.

One adult male was transported to an area hospital with a gun shot wound. No officers were injured during the incident.
Multi-agency Task Force is investigating the incident, which is active at this time.
RRPD will provide an update as soon as possible.
