NE Albuquerque –
Albuquerque Police homicide detectives have filed a criminal complaint and arrest warrant for the second suspect involved in the January 24th, 2022 homicide of massage parlor owner Sihui Fang. Fang owned the Wonderful Massage on 5617 Menual Blvd.
18-year-olds Juan Carlos Hernandez and Jorge Rivera Ramirez were named as the murder and robbery suspects.
APD officers were dispatched at 8:51PM in regards to a tripped alarm and a next door business owner called about a male bleeding heavily. Officers found Jorge Rivera Ramirez with gunshot wounds outside of the Wonderful Massage and he was transported to UNMH.
Officers followed a blood trail that led inside the massage parlor and found Fang deceased from gun shot wounds to her legs, arms, and chest. Blood was on the floor and bullet holes were in the walls. The criminal complaint states video surveillance shows Rivera Ramirez entered the business at 8:32PM and apparently pays for a massage. Fang is then seen running from the room with Rivera Ramirez holding a gun to her head. The second suspect Carlos Hernandez then enters the business and the two physically assault Fang. The two suspects then unplugged a video surveillance computer and the video feed stops recording.
Under the desk Fang kept a hand gun and she was able to defend herself until a shoot out happened with the two suspects. Rivera Ramirez was shot in the leg and arm and Hernandez escaped the scene in a black Nissan 350Z two door.
Missing from the massage parlor was the video equipment, $500 cash and Fang’s iPhone.
Jorge Rivera Ramirez spoke with detectives at the hospital but his story was inconsistent with what the video showed from the massage parlor. Evidence collected by detectives put Ramirez as the first to enter the scene.
Juan Carlos Hernandez was arrested in Texas today and both are now charged in the robbery and murder of Fang.
