SE Albuquerque – Around 4:30PM there was a large Albuquerque Police presence at and near El Sinaloense Mariscos and Grill located at 5025 Central Ave NE. Witnesses told us that at least two people were shot inside the restaurant.

A secondary scene was located at the 5200 block Copper Ave NE where another large police presence had crime scene tape strewn about and a large crowd had gathered. APD was interviewing witnesses and it appeared related to the incident at the restaurant.
None of APD’s public information officials provided any details on the case since no one died and therefore we are unclear if there are any threats to the public. We will update if anymore information becomes available.
