Albuquerque –
The Albuquerque Police Department is currently responding to a reported stabbing at Central and High Street. This is a very developing and active situation.
We do not know the condition of the victim. At this time, we do not know if the suspect is in custody, but last we heard, APD was searching the area for the knife-wielding stabber.
The area might have a large police presence due to police and emergency responders rendering aid to the victim, ongoing investigation, and any active search for the suspect.
We have a reporter trying to get to the scene. We will update you when we learn more information.
UPDATE:
When we arrived on the scene, we learned that the suspect had been located by APD at Highland Park and was taken into custody.
While at this crime scene location, we learned that the individual who had been stabbed declined to be taken to the hospital.
