A man is lead by APD officers toward homicide detectives for questioning. It is unclear of his involvement with the scene.
NE Albuquerque – Around 5PM on September 29th, 2022, Albuquerque Police officers were called to the 3100 block of Pitt St. NE in reference to a deceased male. When officers arrived they determined a violent crimes call out was necessary. Homicide detectives took over the scene and started to interview witnesses and collect evidence.
Around 9:45PM, a man rode up to the scene on a bicycle and was detained near the corner of Pitt St NE and Pitt Court NE. ABQ RAW was on scene when he was placed into the back of a police car and he was seen willingly talking to officers.

“I do not why I am in this mess and why I should be worried,” said the unidentified detained man to APD officers.

Shortly after being detained, the unidentified male was led from the patrol car to the APD Crime RV. An APD officer carried an evidence bag with an unidentified item. Neighbors could be seen outside their houses pondering amongst each other about what may have happened down the street from them. The man was questioned by police and eventually released as having no involvement in the situation.
