Albuquerque –
APD says their SWAT Unit is taking over a scene in Southeast Albuquerque where a man is refusing police commands to exit the residence.
Officials say their officers in the Southeast Area Command initially responded around 7:00AM today to reports about a domestic violence situation at The Dawson apartments located at 1200 Dickerson Dr. S.E.
One individual barricaded himself inside the residence. APD’s SWAT unit is at the scene, attempting to peacefully take the man into custody.
