Between June 28th and 29th, homicide detectives from the Albuquerque Police Department were busy being called out to two homicide scenes.
The first one was reports of a man with gunshot wounds near Central and Pennsylvania in the southeast part of town. The call came in around 10:45PM.

Later in the night, APD was called to a vehicle crash at Central and Tingley Blvd. When officers arrived it first appeared to be a vehicle crash with three occupants. Two of the individuals died from the incident and is being investigated as a double homicide. It was not clear if they were taken to the hospital or died on scene.
Albuquerque now has 84 homicides for 2022.
