Traffic Alert for Multiple Areas in Albuquerque

The traffic lights at San Pedro and Montgomery are reportedly out, likely due to the high winds. This may also affect other lights on Montgomery. Please drive extremely carefully in this area. **UPDATE: As of 11:15AM the lights at San Pedro and Montgomery were back up and on, but it sounds like they might be stuck on green for one direction of travel and red for another… as of 11:38 AM, they were sending someone to reprogram the lights.

This lights at San Mateo and McLeod may also be out at this time, we are working to confirm this. **UPDATE: As of 11:20 AM the traffic lights at San Mateo and McLeod are working again.

Northbound Wyoming at Chico is closed because of a serious crash. At least two vehicles are involved in this crash. APD is waiting for a tow truck to remove two vehicles that are now inoperable. **UPDATE: As of 11:40 AM, this crash should be cleared.

The traffic signs near the State Fair Grounds have reportedly flown into the lanes of traffic at Louisiana.

Multiple traffic lights on Iliff are reportedly experiencing power outages, including Coors and Iliff, and Hanover and Iliff. Please drive with caution. As of 11:40 AM, we have not heard if the lights on Iliff are back up and working.

AFR is reporting that power lines are potentially down in the vicinity of Aspen Ave and 20th St NW. **UPDATE: As of 10:45 AM, AFR has left this area, but it is unknown if the lines have been repaired by PNM.

At 12:05 PM, AFR was responding to downed power wires at 729 Solano DR NE, which is at the McDuffie Park. **UPDATE: AFR has left this area. It is unknown if PNM has been able to repair the power lines yet.

As of 12:22 PM, APD and AFR are responding to an accident at Grove St and Southern Ave SE. **UPDATE: As of 1:00 PM, this crash should be out of the lanes of traffic.

UPDATE AT 10:35PM:

PNM is still reporting a few outages in the Albuquerque Metro area, but they claim only 35 customers are affected as of this update.
