We will give updates on crashes we hear around the Albuquerque area. We’ll include the time and location of each incident and continue updating the list as new crash reports come in from across the Albuquerque metro area.
As a rule of thumb, most crashes are cleaned up within a hour or less. If it is a critical or fatal incident it will take up to 4 hours for the crash to be investigated. Albuquerque –
@ 10:00 AM
Officers and paramedics responded to a vehicle-versus-pedestrian collision at 2266 Wyoming Blvd NE.

A hit and run crash was reported near San Pedro Dr NE and Lomas Blvd NE. Officers from the Albuquerque Police Department and emergency crews from Albuquerque Fire Rescue were sent to the scene. At least one person sustained injuries from the crash, but the severity of their injuries is not known.

There is reportedly a vehicle-versus-pedestrian accident at 4400 Montgomery Blvd NE. An individual, purportedly a teenager, had their foot run over by a passing vehicle.

There is a motor vehicle collision at Vision Dr & King Blvd NE, which is near the Rio Rancho Events Center and UNM Health Sciences Rio Rancho Campus.

There is an accident with injuries on Interstate 25 Southbound Frontage Road as you approach the East Frontage Rd. AFR and APD are still pinpointing the exact location of the crash and states it might be at Eastbound frontage as you approach southbound I-25 frontage.

Officers from APD and firefighters from AFR were dispatched to a two vehicle accident at Westside Blvd and Golf Course Rd NW. Initial reports suggested that one person might have been ejected, but the police have clarified that they believe the occupant of one of the cars exited on their own, and was not ejected.

There is a two vehicle crash at 98th St SW and Gibson Blvd SW. Reportedly, a vehicle was t-boned and both vehicles are blocking the intersection. It is unknown if there are any injuries at this time.

There is a three vehicle accident at Oak St NE and Lomas Blvd NE. Engine 3 and Rescue 3 were sent to the scene as injuries were reported.

There is a motor vehicle collision at Broadway Blvd SE and Kathryn Ave SE. Preliminary reports indicates this is a vehicle versus a bicycle. Update: the cyclist was transported to an area hospital for their injuries.

There is a crash at Pennsylvania St NE and Menaul Blvd NE that has multiple lanes of traffic closed.

There is an accident at Pan American NE and San Mateo Blvd NE. It’s reported there are no injuries in this incident, but the vehicles involved are blocking some lanes of traffic.
There is also a collision at Menaul Blvd NE and University Blvd NE. Injuries were reported. Around 4:15 PM, AFR requested APD to the crash scene for an individual that is reportedly causing issues.

A crash involving a van versus a motorcycle was reported at Coors Blvd SW and Coors Pl SW, which is near Coors and Blake. BCSO was initially advised that the rider’s lower extremity was pinned by the van, but another calling party told dispatch it was the van driver who was pinned. Drivers should expect delays. Southbound Coors Blvd is closed near Blake due to a crash involving a motorcycle.

There are reports of a motor vehicle accident on I-40 eastbound near Carlisle. The caller did not believe either driver sustained injuries.

A crash with injuries was reported at Corona Dr. NW and Quail Rd NW.

A crash was reported in the South Valley at Isleta and Rio Bravo Blvd SW. Emergency crews were advised at least one person sustained injuries.

Officers responded to a motor vehicle crash involving a vehicle versus a motorcycle at Eubank Blvd and Chico Rd NE. Rescue 12 and Engine 12 responded to the scene. The severity of the rider’s injuries are not known.

There’s a motor vehicle accident at Coors Blvd NW and Dellyne Ave. Rescue 18 and Engine 18 from Albuquerque Fire Rescue were sent.
