Albuquerque – Around 6:05 PM, officers from Albuquerque Police Department’s Valley Area Command responded to reports of gunfire in the vicinity of 4500 Alexander Blvd., N.E., situated south of Montano Blvd.
Preliminary details suggest that two people have sustained gunshot wounds. Reportedly one person has died on scene, and one person was transported to a local area hospital in critical condition.
Law enforcement officers and emergency responders are still arriving at this location and implementing roadblocks. This scene is still very active. Motorists are advised to steer clear of the area.

UPDATE:
When our reporter arrived on scene, they observed that the shooting was actually north of the PAYCHEX and in the Express Scripts parking lot.
