NE Albuquerque

On Monday, July 24, the United States Marshals Service (USMS) was involved in a shooting at Pennsylvania St. NE and Constitution Ave. NE. The major area of focus was The White House Apartments located at 1300 Constitution Ave. NE. Plain clothed law enforcement officers with tactical vests and guns were seen all around the scene.

There is still a large police presence in the area, both the United States Marshals and deputies from the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) are on site, conducting an investigation and securing the area. Officers from the Albuquerque Police Department (APD) are also on scene, but they were only assisting with traffic control since they were not involved in the operation.

According to eyewitness accounts, they told us that they saw a man get shot and then put into an ambulance. The man’s condition and identity are unknown at this time.

“No TFO’s (Task Force Officers) were involved,” said BCSO Deputy and spokeswoman Angelina Navarro.

All USMS and local attached task force officers are reportedly okay.
