Albuquerque –
Officers with the Albuquerque Police Department are on the scene of a vehicle fire along Interstate 40 eastbound between San Pedro and Louisiana.

The vehicle, which is fully engulfed in flames, is located on the right shoulder. Traffic is being directed to the middle and left lanes as police and fire crews respond to the incident.
Albuquerque Fire Rescue arrived on scene around 2:05 PM and began fighting the blaze which is producing this black smoke.
Drivers may experience delays.
