Wanted Federal Felon Robs Second Bank in Metro Area

Albuquerque –

The FBI along with the Rio Rancho Police Department and the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office are seeking the public’s assistance to identify the Tan Pants Bandit, who robbed the Bank of Albuquerque, located at 6600 4th St NW, Los Ranchos De Albuquerque, at approximately 4:55p.m. on Thursday, May 23, 2024.

Suspect’s description:

  • Sex: Male
  • Race: White
  • Height: Approximately 5’7”
  • Build: stocky
  • Clothing: Tan pants, Black button-up shirt, Black baseball cap with white emblem on the front, black face mask, glasses, Black and white Nike sneakers

The suspect entered the Bank and demanded money from the teller. The teller handed over an undisclosed amount of money to the suspect. The suspect then fled west bound on Nora Vista Rd toward 4th Street in a white sedan likely a 2016 Buick Verano.

He is accused of robbing the Rio Grande Credit Union of Rio Rancho, located at 1526 Unser Blvd SE, at approximately 4:45p.m. on Monday, April 1, 2024.
