Albuquerque –

Albuquerque police officers were dispatched to a domestic disturbance at the 1290 block of Central Ave. When they arrived they found three subjects yelling at each other. The subjects were identified as an ex-girlfriend, current girlfriend, and the boyfriend. According to the criminal complaint, Precious Mitchell was going to sleep when her boyfriend’s ex-girlfriend arrived at the residence. The boyfriend said the ex-girlfriend came over with no past problems. On this occasion, a violent altercation happened and Mitchell pointed a firearm at the ex-girlfriend. The boyfriend stated that a round was fired inside the apartment where his 8-year-old daughter was sleeping.

The complaint goes on to say the ex-girlfriend was “looking down the barrel.” Officers were able to locate a casing on the kitchen floor.
