APD Investigates Woman Shot and Killed Behind Gas Station

Albuquerque –

According to the Albuquerque Police Department, officers responded overnight to reports that a woman was shot in an alley behind a building at 9201 Central Ave., N.E., which is the Central Gas and Food Mart.

Officers found the woman with what appeared to be a gunshot wound was transported to a hospital and later died as a result of her wounds.

Homicide investigators were on scene this morning looking for any evidence and leads to the case. This is the 47th homicide of 2025 in the Albuquerque metro area. Which is the same pace as last year’s numbers.
