Pajarito Mesa Party Leaves Man Dead, No Suspects in Custody

Albuquerque –

At approximately 11:10 p.m. on Saturday, August 29, 2026, deputies from the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the Pajarito Mesa in response to a reported shooting at a party.

Upon arrival, deputies located a male who was dead. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Homicide detectives with BCSO are investigating. No suspect has been taken into custody at this time.
