On Monday around 5:40 AM, officers responded to reports that a vehicle struck a pedestrian at the intersection of Wyoming Blvd. and Constitution Ave. N.E.
Upon arrival, officers attempted first aid, but the female pedestrian died as a result of her injuries.
APD’s Fatal Crash Team is investigating the crash.
We drove by the reported area of the crash, however the car involved was being towed and lanes of traffic were being reopened.
In APD’s alert, they advised drivers are urged to avoid the area due to the closure but having just driven in the area, all lanes were open.
