One Person Shot at Walmart

Albuquerque-

Around 9PM, Albuquerque Police Department responded to a shooting at the Walmart located at 8000 Academy Rd. NE. When officers arrived they found a victim with gunshot wounds.

Fire and Rescue went to the scene and transported the patient to University of New Mexico Hospital in critical but stable condition.

Witnesses said the shooter and the victim both had guns and an incident in the parking lot lead to the shooting. The shooting led to the closing of the Walmart and area businesses in the parking lot.
