St Louis, MO – On Tuesday, May 7, the United States Marshals Service arrested Brian Eisenbeis in St.
Louis, Missouri, after developing information that Eisenbeis had fled New Mexico and was in the Eastern
part of Missouri.
On April 17, 2024, Eisenbeis was charged with two counts of Aggravated Battery with Great Bodily Harm
and one count of Tampering with Evidence. These charges stem from two separate incidents that
occurred on or about 10 April 2024.
One was, 43-year-old Eisenbeis harassed and attacked a female runner last month near Silver and 12th Street. Another, was when he attacked two men in their 80s as they were going to a thrift store near Central and 14th. APD says Eisenbeis used homophobic slurs toward the men, who both identify as gay and bisexual
“We are grateful this suspect was identified quickly by our detectives and taken into custody by the US
Marshal Service,” APD Chief Harold Medina said. “The violent nature of these crimes and the targeting
of innocent victims was disturbing. I urge the court to keep him detained pending trial once he is
returned to New Mexico.”
At this time, Eisenbeis will be booked into a local St Louis jail, pending extradition to New Mexico.
“This arrest is an example of how, when law enforcement works together, violent perpetrators brought
to justice,” said Vincent Gambone, Acting Chief Deputy United States Marshal. “We are dedicated to
working with our fellow law enforcement agencies, be they local, state or federal, to make our
community safe,” he continued.
This investigation was the culmination of efforts by multiple law enforcement agencies, including the
Albuquerque Police Department, and the United States Marshals Service-Southwest Investigative
Fugitive Team (NM) and the United States Marshals Service-Gateway Strike Force (MO).
