Albuquerque –
Albuquerque Fire Rescue is on scene at a working two-story structure fire at 1109 Arizona St. SE. Firefighters were sent to the listed location at approximately 6:07 PM.
Initial reports to AFR indicated a possible victim trapped inside the structure. Crews from AFR conducted primary searches of the apartment complex, and at the time of this publication, no victims have been located inside the apartment.


Adjacent apartments have been evacuated as firefighters continue fire suppression operations. AFR is performing attic ventilation and working to extinguish a fire which has entered the attic space.
The structure sustained significant damage, with multiple occupancies impacted by heavy fire, smoke, and water damage. It is unknown how many individuals have been displaced.
No citizens or firefighters were injured.
AFR Fire Investigators are en route to determine the cause and origin of the fire. At this time, the cause of the fire has not been determined.

AFR sent an update which stated “Multiple occupants will be displaced.”
