Albuquerque –
At 1:27 PM, Albuquerque High School went into a shelter-in-place because of police activity nearby.
Purportedly, police are presently looking for an individual in the area.*
If we learn more about this shelter-in-place order, we will update you.
This is the second shelter-in-place order issued today. Earlier, there was an shelter-in-place issued at Del Norte High. In addition, Nex+Gen Academy High School was also asked to shelter-in-place out of precaution. According to authorities, the threat at Del Norte was determined to be false.
UPDATE:
Our reporter went to the scene and learned that the shelter-in-place had been lifted.
APS Police and APD are still reportedly actively looking for the person responsible for making the threat against Del Norte earlier today.
