Yesterday in the middle of his trial, Martin Jerome Trujillo plead guilty to first-degree willful and deliberate murder and conspiracy to commit first-degree murder. Trujillo hired a couple to kill Gary Escareño on May 1, 2022, in the far northeast area of Albuquerque.

The other two had already been convicted for their roles in the plot. Because of his plea Trujillo now faces life in prison plus 15 years.
