Albuquerque –
On the evening of May 11, officers were called out to the Arioso Apartments located at 7303 Montgomery for a report of gunshots in the area.
When officers originally showed up they didn’t locate anyone injured. Shortly before 12:00a.m. another call came in at the complex stating someone had been shot. Officers then went back to the complex and located one individual deceased inside an apartment.
This complex has had a structure fire and now a murder all within a 24 hour period. This location is no stranger to violent crimes having at least three murders happening at the location in the last few years.
This is the 39th homicide of 2024. We will update the story when we have more information.
