Two Victims Burned During Suspicious Fire on Pajarito Mesa

Albuquerque – We learned that earlier this morning there was an RV fire and mobile home fire in the Pajarito west mesa. This area is known to be a large homeless encampment area with lots of illegal dumping, camping, and illicit drug usage. It’s been reported that at least two burn victims came into the Pres Now medical facility on Las Estancias SW. It appears that a mom and her 6yo was dropped off by a “friend”. The mysterious person who dropped the pair off said there was an explosion but there didn’t appear to be any record or calls of an explosion anywhere.
