Albuquerque –
This morning the Albuquerque Police Department received a call from dumpster divers that they had found bones inside a dumpster near 69th St. and Gwin Rd. When APD arrived they confirmed what appeared to be human bones and they called the Office of the Medical Investigator to help investigate the origin of the remains.
While on scene we saw OMI and APD crime scene specialists looking at and photographing the bones. They eventually packed up the bones in a white body bag like any other deceased human and took them back to the OMI’s office for further investigation.
