APD Homicide Detectives Investigating Scene Near Old Town

Albuquerque –

The Albuquerque Police Department is conducting a homicide investigation near Central Ave. and Rio Grande Blvd.

While on scene, we observed a large scene in front of the McDonald’s and VP Fuels Gas Station with at least three bullet casings on the ground. There were rocks and an abandoned bicycle within the scene.

We reached out to APD for details. They stated “Shortly at 1:30am on April 26, officers were called to the area of Central and Rio Grande for reports of a shooting. An individual was transported to the hospital but succumb to their injuries.”
