Albuquerque –
APD officers responded around 10 p.m. on Saturday to reports of a shooting in the 6700 block of Cochiti Rd., S.E. Officers located a man with a gunshot wound. The victim was determined to be deceased.

Homicide detectives have started an investigation into the shooting. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.
This is the 98th homicide of 2024 in the Albuquerque metro area.
