APD Investigating Suspicious Death at Motel 6 on Coors and Iliff

Albuquerque –

On September 30, 2023, a significant police presence descended upon the Motel 6 located just off the intersection of Coors and Iliff. The Albuquerque Police Department (APD) promptly responded to a report of a suspicious death.

When we arrived on scene, we observed APD’s Crime Scene Investigation (CSI) van situated near the motel’s front entrance of the motel. Crime scene investigators were actively processing a room on the ground floor on the northwest side of building and APD officers were establishing a secure perimeter around the motel.

A month or so ago another homicide happened at this same location.
