APD Detectives talk at the 6021 Anderson, El Pueblo II Apartments, during a suspicious death investigation.
The Albuquerque Police Department is investigating a suspicious death in SE Albuquerque. The investigation is occurring around the 6000 block of Anderson Ave SE, which is at an apartment complex and the complex is near to the Wilson Pool. APD personnel were on scene at the El Pueblo II Apartments investigating the scene.

Witnesses told us they hard gunshots and believe the victim was a male between 18-22 years of age.

A APD CSI specialist looks at a piece of fabric with what appears to be blood on the trunk of a sedan at a secondary scene.
We went to a possible secondary scene at the La Vida Nueva apartment complex located at 1200 Dickerson St SE. APD police, detectives and crime scene specialists were investigating a car in the parking lot. On the trunk of the car was bloody fabric.
We will update if this becomes a homicide, as of right now, it is considered a suspicious death.
